Photo Release is an internal enterprise app for Wakefern, the cooperative that owns the ShopRite brand of food stores. It is an iPhone and iPad universal app that allows their public relations department to easily acquire and organize photo release info, agreements and signatures for all of their approximately 300 stores. The photo models – typically store employees or customers – enter their information and then sign the release with their finger. All data captured, including signatures and headshots taken with the device, is stored using a custom-built back-end system that allows releases to be easily searched, viewed, printed and shared.

This app features auto layout so it displays nicely across various sizes of multiple iPad and iPhone models, along with network services that connect to the custom web services we built. Handy features include recreating a new release based on a previous one as well as dual languages (English and Spanish).

2019 Update: This iOS app was converted to a responsive website that can be used on desktop, tablet or smart phones. This conversion saved on development costs and made the system more versatile. See "Wakefern" under related projects below.
